Services
Middleway Counselling is an Australia-wide online counselling service delivered by registered counsellors, and is available for residents of Australia only. This service is operated from Sydney, New South Wales. For detailed information regarding Middelway’s services, please read the services section of the Website.
Our counselling service is based on information you choose to share with your counsellor. This information is collected with consent from clients, and includes pre-session questionnaires, information collected via contact forms on the Website, and information shared during counselling sessions and consultations.
Nothing contained in the Website is intended to be used as medical advice and is not intended to be used for diagnosis, treatment, cure or prevention of any disease or disorder. Information on the Website is also not a substitute for psychotherapy or counselling. Middleway Counselling does not accept any liability for any injury, loss or damage incurred by use of or reliance on the information.
Payment and cancellation policy
Payment for services is required at the end of the counselling session.
Services cancelled before 24 hours of a scheduled appointment will not be subject to a cancellation fee.
If an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of the agreed time, a 50% cancellation fee is applied. Cancellations must be communicated by the client/customer via email, text message or via telephone.

Confidentiality
Personal information obtained via the Website is kept confidential and will not be shared with any other organisation without your express permission, except when it is a requirement to do so under law. This may apply in circumstances where Middleway Counselling has a 'duty of care'; that is when you are at serious risk of harming yourself, harming someone else or there is a child protection concern.
Please note, de-identified information and demographic data may be used for the purposes of clinical supervision or to evaluate the services provided by Middleway Counselling.
Intellectual property
All content and materials on the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, and digital products, are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Clients and Website users may not reproduce, distribute, or sell any content without express written permission from Middleway Counselling.

Your email address will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it, including what is outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Your email address will not be added to any mailing lists without your prior consent by way of a specific request in writing.
